The Government has committed multi-billions Hong Kong dollars budget to upgrading and provision of sewage treatment facilities in the territory for improvement of water quality of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Baptist University organized a certificate course which aims at providing the local professionals with a structured frame starting from refreshing the basic sewage treatment concept, looking into the practical and hand-on experiences on sewage and sludge treatment works planning, design, project implementation, operation and maintenance, presented the most state-of-art sewage treatment technologies with discussions on achieving energy neutral sewage treatment.
