Programme Description and Course Outline
The Government has committed multi-billions Hong Kong dollars budget to upgrading and provision of sewage treatment facilities in the territory for improvement of the water quality of Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Baptist University together with The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers – MMNC Division and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers – Hong Kong Branch are going to organize a certificate course on “Municipal Sewage Treatment Works Planning, Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance”, which aims at providing the local professionals with a structured frame starting from refreshing the basic sewage treatment concepts, looking into the practical and hand-on experiences on sewage and sludge treatment plant planning, design, project implementation, operation and maintenance and presenting to you the most state-of-art sewage treatment technologies.
