Ir Yu is a chartered mechanical, marine, electrical, building services, and environmental engineer and has more than 30 years hands-on experience in the design, supervision of construction, testing, commissioning, research and development work, operation and maintenance of municipal sewage treatment plants and systems.

Lecture 1:  Sewage Treatment Fundamentals

Lecture 2:  Biological Sewage Treatment Process I

Lecture 3:  Biological Sewage Treatment Process II

Lecture 4:  Biological Sewage Treatment Process III and the Operating Experience in Shatin Sewage Treatment Works with Case Study

Lecture 5:  Vacuum Sewerage, Disinfection and Water Reclamation Technologies, Maintenance of Sewage Treatment Facilities and Control of Nutrients in Sewage Effluent

Lecture 6:  Sewage Sludge Treatment

Lecture 7:  Achieving Energy Neutral Sewage Treatment and Compact Processes with end of course examination
