  • All fees are settled via online credit card payment will be charged and collected in US Dollars (USD).
  • Payment by cheque/bank draft could be charged in
    • US Dollars (USD) OR
    • Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) equivalent.
  • Payment by telegraphic transfer could be charged in
    • US Dollars (USD) OR
    • Renminbi/Chinese Yuan (RMB) [Rate: multiply the total payable amount in USD by 6.7] OR
    • Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) [Rate: multiply the total payable amount in USD by 7.8 ].
  • The organiser will not bear any bank charges associated with the transfer of money.
  • Organiser reserves the right to cancel or alter the content and timing of the programme or the identity of the speakers.
*Approval of Student Status: Participants applying under "Students" category must provide a copy of their student card or an official letter from the department head of their universities or learning institutions indicating their full-time student status. You can email to the Conference Secretariat via email (arcpe@hkbu.edu.hk), please name the title of email as “Proof of student status” plus your Registration Number . After you received the email from the Secretariat notifiying you about the approval of Student Status, then your "Student status" was granted, which will enable you to pay in Student Rate.

If payment has not been received prior to the conference, your attendance is not guaranteed.


Financial Aid
For those who want to apply for Financial Aid, please write to the Conference Secretariat via email (arcpe@hkbu.edu.hk) and mention the title of abstract submitted. The Secretariat will notify the applicants about the result in due course. As funds are limited, you are advised to seek for other sources of funding at the same time.

Cancellation policy
Cancellation of the registration will be possible until 30th April 2011, with
a cancellation fee of US$100. After that date no refunding will be possible, but
we will gladly accept a replacing participant from your organisation.
