Due to time limitation, we have re-arranged our itinerary. The visit in Shenzhen has been cancelled, 2 new sites were arranged in replacement.
Hence, for participants enrolled in our field trip, no travel visa to mainland China will be needed.

If you are a student, who wish to pay the discounted rate of student, please read the following before you proceed to make the online payment.
Participants applying under "Students" category must provide a copy of their student card or an official letter from the department head of their universities or learning institutions indicating their full-time student status.
You can email to the Conference Secretariat via email (arcpe@hkbu.edu.hk), please name the title of email as “Proof of student status†plus your Registration Number .
After you received the email approving your Student Status from the Secretariat, then your "Student status" was then granted, which will enable you to pay in Student Rate.
If you did not get this approval, you will NOT be able to pay at a discounted rate.

Announcement on Conference Publications (NEWS!)
The Conference is supported by two International Journals, "Bioresource Technology" and "Environmental Technology". All the papers received will be reviewed and selected papers will be published in a special issue of "Bioresource Technology" and "Environmental Technology".

The International Conference on Solid Waste 2011 Moving Towards Sustainable Resource Management (ICSW 2011) will be held in Hong Kong during 3 – 7 May 2011. The conference will focus on various issues related to “integrated waste management†and “sustainable resource managementâ€, including the strategies, planning and regulatory guidance that would facilitate sustainable resource management, technological developments that would facilitate resource recovery from waste and partnerships among the various stakeholders for successful resource recovery programmes.
